Resolve “incompatible file system’ CF card error in Canon EOS 50 D

Canon EOS 50 D DSLR camera is known for its high end, equipped features that in turn offers excellent quality pictures. It is incorporated with 15.1 mega pixel resolution camera, imaging processor, CMOS sensor, live view mode integrated with 3 Auto focus mode, 3 inch LCD display and many more powerful features. They are provided with CF card which is considered reliable storage medium. Though quite numbers of instances are there in which memory card gets corrupt.

Such an instance make the card inaccessible such that it remains of no use, as photos could not be clicked with it any more, neither it is possible to extract pictures from the memory card. Formatting then becomes necessary; however it should always be borne in mind that doing so will delete data from the storage media. Backup or recovery tool is then necessary for restoration of images files lost.

Taking into consideration an example in which on loading the card into the camera in order to access files, error message “incompatible file system format card” is encountered.

For the problems of inaccessibility to be fixed, allowing proper access of photos, following needs to be done-
