Quick tips to fix Canon error 1
Canon digital cameras have been gaining popularity ever since they were launched in the market for the public. And with each passing day newer and the latest innovations have made these cameras one of the top contenders in the world of digital cameras. However, due to certain reasons one may encounter certain erroneous situations and encounter different error codes and messages like the Canon error 1 and an error message like the following:
"Error Code 1"
This error message is displayed on the LCD panel of the canon digital camera. The error message is an indication that there is some hindrance that does not allow the camera to communicate with the lens of the camera. The error can be fixed with the steps mentioned below:
- Remove the lens attached to the camera.
- On the bottom of the lens there are electrical contacts. Clean them with the help of a soft cloth or with a microfiber cloth.
- Clean all the contacts on the body of the camera.

These steps would remove the error from the camera. Attach the lens one more time and see if the error is fixed or not. If the error is not fixed then you can try using some other lens to find out if the canon error code 1 still persists or not. If it is still there then it means that there is some problem with the camera itself and not with the lens.
In such a situation you need to check the batteries and extract the old batteries to reinsert new ones. Also see if all the connections and the screws in the camera are intact or not.
