To remove all the sand and dust particles from the camera try tapping the lens on a soft surface on its front on both the sides of the camera to fix the Camera error e45. Tap it a bit harder against the palm of your hands but make sure that you do not damage the camera by hitting it hard against any surface. Also try cleaning the surface with a soft cloth to wipe out all dust and sand particles.
If the error is not fixed then make sure that you recover all the images from the memory card with the help of third party photo recovery software to recover the inaccessible and lost images from the memory card of the camera.
